Off to the woods!

Ahhh, there's nothing more relaxing than annoying mosquitos, smelly port-a-potties, and realizing that amongst everything that you packed including the kitchen sink, that you forgot your tent! That was the start of our camping trip to Idylwild with our beloved camping buddies Luis and Leasile. Matt wasn't up for the idea of sleeping underneath the stars. (He was afraid that we would be eaten alive by mosquitos, which he was right.) He opted for a quick drive down the mountain to buy us a $20 tent, a cheap tent because at one seam wasn't sown shut.
Our campsite was beautiful. It was next to this small creek that would lull me to sleep at night. However, it was illegal to get within 10 feet of the creek or you would receive a $5,000 fine! There was even this hideous wood fence to prohibit us from getting to close to this creek. Why do you ask are we not allowed near this creek? An endangered yellow frog!!!!! Insane!
We basically spent our time debating about life and it's mysteries, eating and listening to really good music, star gazing, and off-roading! We can hardly wait to go back next year, but we'll remember to bring the tent this time!
