Marcie and Sam (aka the Great CFO- sorry family joke) came down for the weekend to play. Saturday we went hiking at the Torry Pines State Park in La Jolla. Torry Pines is one of mine and Matt's favorite place to go. We spent the afternoon exploring the different trails while taking in the beauty of the area.
Afterwards, we treated ourselves to some authentic Mexican food at a nearby Roberto's Restaurant. While Matt and Sam took a nap at home, Marcie and I did a little more retail shopping. My favorite store Bath and Body this year in clearance sale where I got over a hundred dollars in product for about $30! After we had all cleaned up, we went to P.F. Changs in La Jolla to enjoy some oriental food. Marcie and I love P.F. Changs. Anytime she came to visit me in Utah or I would visit her in Las Vegas, we would always find a P.F.Changs. Later, we took Marcie and Sam to Extraordinary Desserts. This place has the best desserts. We definitely gorged ourselves. We love it when Marcie and Sam come to visit, but we are always sorry when they have to leave.
