Sorry that it has been almost a month since I've updated our blog. So much as happened that we weren't able to discuss until last Sunday.Matt's sister, Alyssa went to the hospital for a "headache." Instead of it being a headache, it was a bleed in her brain. She was admitted to the hospital. During their stay they discovered that the bleed was from an aneurysm. They fixed it, but she never got better. She suffered a massive stroke then herniated on Saturday March 21st. She died in peace without any pain surrounded by her family and loved ones. She left behind her 3 year old son, Julian.
It has been a rough week as we have had to make sense of her quick departure. We knew that she will be greatly be missed, but are comforted to know that she is with her mom. We all feel privileged that we were able to know and love her. She will always be remembered as one who had an infectious laugh, love for life and those around her.
To all our family and friends, thank you for all the support that you have provided to us during this time.

I'm so sorry about Alyssa. The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, will take care of it all! Hang in there guys! You've both done SO well! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers! We sure do love you! :)
