2nd Appointment

Matt and I had our second prenatal appointment on Monday. It was pretty exciting! We were going to hear our baby's heart for the first time. I know that it can be challenging to find the baby's heartbeat the first time, but our doc was a pro. He found it right away! He said that it sounded great and strong.

At times, this pregnancy feels very surreal. I keep pinching myself to see if it is really true that we are expecting. I have been blessed with this pregnancy. Fortunately, no morning sickness. I just was extremely exhausted my first trimester. Now that I'm in my second I have more energy fortunately. I don't have any weird cravings yet, just orange juice. The only daily indication that I'm pregnant is this growing belly. I had a melt down the other day when I couldn't zip my favorite pants, but it's part of the journey.

We next ultrasound is the end of August. Matt still thinks it's going to be a boy. I'm still pretty clueless. We'll see in a couple of weeks!
