Balboa Park

My dad was in town teaching a seminar in San Diego. Thursday night we were able to take my dad on the town. After some great Mexican food, we took him to Balboa Park. During the Christmas time, they decorate the whole park with amazing lights. In front of one of the theater's is devoted to Dr. Seuss. He was actually a resident of San Diego. Every Christmas, they put on the Grinch and they decorate in front of the theater in true Dr. Seuss style. Check out the tree!
And more fun Dr. Seuss decorations.
Even Santa Clause made an appearance.
The coolest part is the Nativity scene. It actually is a set of booths that are devoted to Christ's birth.
Overall, a great night. We were glad we could share it with my dad.

That looks like so much fun! I love Balboa park any ol' time but Christmas looks like it was a blast! Did it rain on you? My bro that lives there said it started raining around Thursday night.

Actually it didn't start raining until early morning Friday. It was actually a perfect weather to explore Balboa.
